Model of Expos Ballpark Destroyed
A model of the proposed Expos
Labatt ballpark in downtown Montreal was given to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. It was destroyed by vandals on April 27, 2005. Access to the model was gained by removing plywood which was nailed over a rear door.
The Washington Nationals are planning a stadium similar to that proposed for Montreal.
Washington Post has an article.
